House Rules – Hotel Watergang

To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests and our neighbors, we kindly ask you to respect the following house rules.

1. General

Hotel Watergang is a small-scale boutique accommodation located in a quiet residential area.
We kindly ask all guests to respect the peaceful nature of the property at all times.

2. Maximum Occupancy

  • A maximum number of guests applies per accommodation.
  • Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.
  • Visitors are not permitted without prior approval.

Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

3. Noise & Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours apply between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
  • No loud music, parties or gatherings are allowed at any time.

Any disturbance to neighbors may lead to termination of the stay.

4. Smoking & Substances

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property.
  • Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.
  • The use or possession of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.

5. Parties & Events

  • Parties, events or group gatherings are not permitted.
  • The property may not be used for celebrations, photoshoots or commercial events without written permission.

6. Care of the Property

Guests are expected to:

  • Treat the property, furniture and equipment with care
  • Leave the accommodation in a reasonable condition
  • Report any damage immediately

Guests may be held financially responsible for damages caused during their stay.

7. Shared Facilities

When using shared facilities such as kitchens, living areas or office spaces:

  • Please clean up after use
  • Respect other guests
  • Keep shared areas tidy and functional

8. Safety

  • Do not block emergency exits
  • Do not tamper with fire safety equipment
  • Follow all safety instructions provided
  • Open fire is not allowed (such as lighting or sparkling candles, or any other form of fire or fireworks)

9. Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in and check-out times must be respected.
  • Late check-out or early check-in is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

10. Pets

  • Pets are not allowed.

11. Liability

Hotel Watergang is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

Guests stay at their own risk.

12. Violation of House Rules

Failure to comply with these house rules may result in:

  • Immediate termination of the stay
  • No refund of paid amounts
  • Additional charges for damages or extra cleaning

13. Long stay (28+ nights) — key terms

  • All-in utilities (fair use): Energy, water and internet are included for normal residential use.
  • Fair use cap: up to 600 kWh electricity per month and 15 m³ water per month are included. Excess usage: consumption above these caps will be charged at cost based on meter readings and local tariffs.
  • Meter readings: we record electricity and water meter readings at check-in and check-out. For stays longer than 60 nights, we may request a monthly meter photo.
  • Not allowed: EV charging, portable electric heaters without approval, mining/server equipment, or other unusually high-consumption devices.
  • Housekeeping: not included (optional on request).
  • Municipal registration: not possible at this address.
  • Deposit: a refundable deposit may be required; any excess utility charges can be deducted from the deposit.
