Scope of Application

These Terms & Conditions apply to all reservations, stays, rentals and services offered by Hotel Watergang, including accommodation, short-stay rentals, and the use of office or meeting facilities.

By making a reservation or using our services, the guest agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

Nature of the Accommodation

Hotel Watergang is a small-scale boutique accommodation.
It is not a traditional hotel and does not offer a reception desk or daily hotel services.
A maximum number of guests applies per stay. Hotel Watergang reserves the right to refuse access or terminate a stay if this limit is exceeded.

Reservations & Payment

  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment or written confirmation by Hotel Watergang.
  • Payment terms may vary depending on the type and duration of stay.
  • All prices are stated including VAT (21%), unless stated otherwise.
  • Tourist tax is not included and will be charged separately, in accordance with municipal regulations.
  • Hotel Watergang reserves the right to request advance payment or a security deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Short stays (nightly bookings):
  • Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
  • Cancellations within 7 days: 100% of the booking amount
Longer stays (monthly / short-term rentals):
  • Cancellation terms will be specified in the individual agreement
  • Deposits are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise

No refunds will be granted for early departure.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in: from 2pm
  • Check-out: by 12pm

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Use of the Property

Guests must:

  • Use the accommodation responsibly
  • Respect other guests, neighbors and the property
  • Comply with house rules provided on the premises or website

The following is not permitted:

  • Parties or events
  • Causing noise disturbance
  • Subletting or commercial use without written permission
  • Smoking inside the property
  • Illegal activities
  • Pets / animals

Hotel Watergang reserves the right to terminate the stay without refund in case of violations.

Office & Meeting Space

Use of office or meeting facilities is subject to:

  • Prior reservation
  • Intended business use only
  • Respect for the quiet and small-scale nature of the property

Hotel Watergang is not responsible for loss of data, business interruption, or indirect damages related to office use.

Liability

Hotel Watergang and Palulu Holding B.V. are not liable for:

  • Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings
  • Injury or damage caused by improper use of the property
  • Force majeure situations (including but not limited to natural events, government measures, or utility outages)

Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law.

Damage & Security Deposit

Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.

Hotel Watergang reserves the right to:

  • Charge repair or replacement costs
  • Deduct costs from a security deposit, if applicable

Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and our Privacy Policy, available on the website.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

Amendments

Hotel Watergang reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version applicable at the time of booking shall apply.We only collect personal data that is necessary to handle booking requests and respond to enquiries. This may include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Booking details provided through the contact or booking request form

We use this information solely to communicate with you about your stay or enquiry.
